Troop 641 Welcomes 8 New Boy Scouts; Troop Grows to 24 Scouts!

On Thursday, February 20th, the Boy Scout Troop chartered by Walker Chapel grew by another eight Scouts, as eight excited Webelos Scouts "Crossed Over" during the annual Arrow of Light ceremony, led by our own Jackson Shaffer. The Arrow of Light is Cub Scouting's highest honor, and the only Cub Scout award that a Scout is entitled to wear on his Scouting uniform for life.

Walker Chapel welcomes these eight boys to Troop 641:
  • Niles Ayer,
  • Benjamin Gordon,
  • Andrew Green,
  • Anton Lingeman,
  • Dominic Lowe,
  • Will Markowitz,
  • Devin McFarlane, and
  • Barrett Watson
The addition of these eight brings the total member- ship of our Troop to 24 boys in just two and a half short years! We are also grateful that the fathers of Benjamin, Anton, and Devin have all agreed to continue their Scouting service by becoming registered adult Scout leaders in Troop 641. Walker Chapel has benefitted from the service and enthusiasm of Troop 641, and the Troop is grateful for the care and support of the Walker Chapel family. Welcome to these new scouts and their families!
