Isabelle Schweiter

 

Isabelle Schweiter (Soprano) is a junior at Brooke Point HS in Stafford, VA. She has been in many musicals for the Christian Youth Theater of Fredericksburg, including Elf: The Musical, and Annie in 2018 she won the ODACS statewide vocal competition and has been selected for the VCDA, District XV Honors Choir. Isabelle is in Opera NOVA’s Young Artists Program.

Cody Yeatman

 

Cody Yeatman (Baritone) is a rising senior, has been taking music lessons, piano lessons, and doing performances for 8 years, but this is his first time doing anything operatically. Previous performances: Pig #2 in Shrek the Musical! – City of Fairfax Theatre Company; Prince Dauntless in Once Upon a Mattress youth edition – Arlington Christian Community Theatre; Shane Grey in Camp Rock: The Musical and Jafar in Aladin, Jr. – Aspire Christian Theatre; Duke of Wesleton in Frozen, Jr. and Ensemble in Pirates of Penzance, Jr. – Northern Virginia players.

Katherine Kailey

 

Katherine Kailey (Soprano) is a rising senior that has studied voice for 6 years and is participating in her third Summer Institute at Opera NOVA. Previous performances include Amir in Amir, Mabel in Pirates of Penzance, and Anna in Frozen, Belle in Beauty and the Beast – all with the Northern Virginia Players; Sara Crewe in A Little Princess with the Aldersgate Church Community Theatre; Mrs. Semin in Naye’s Fludde with Voce Chamber Singers; Fundraising Cabaret Heart House Inclusive Productions, Inc; Show Choir of Northern Virginia Players 2021-22.

Jose Sacin

 

Jose Sacin, Peruvian Baritone, is the Artistic Director of Opera NOVA. Jose has performed in opera companies around the world.

Over the past eight years as Opera NOVA’s Artistic director, Mrf Sacin has developed an expertise for designing and producing operas specifically for audiences of school children.

 

Tatiana Loisha

 

Tatiana Loisha (Pianist) is a collaborative pianist and coach in the Greater Washington DC area. She has been collaborating with the Potomac Vocal Institute and actively performing in the area accompanying singers and Instrumentalists since 2014 having moved to the US from Minsk, Belarus.
